Bunker is the forum where senior mobility becomes a direct topic. Classic tour pro tips assume that you stand in the back, bend your front leg slightly, and shovel through the sand. But: if your hip no longer rotates as much after 60, or your knee doesn't bend as far, that won't work.

The solution for me was: open leg (front leg to the left), open racket (60° sand wedge, fully open), and the swing direction follows the shoulder line – not the target line. This means I don't have to actively rotate my hips; the swing axis does it. But: consistency is moderate – at Wendlohe (June 11th) I attempted 3 sand saves, and didn't get out 3 times.

How do you guys do that? Setup Customizations with mobility restrictions, club selection in sand (60° full, 56° half?), and honestly: what's your sand save percentage? I expect honest numbers — not what's in the pro book.
