Thoracic spine mobility is the most underestimated source of distance in senior golf.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><p>The thoracic spine rotates relative to the hips during the backswing\u2014this differential is called the X-factor and is the most important distance generator in the swing. As we age, the thoracic spine loses mobility disproportionately.
